Practise and Improve - Have a Conversation in VR
You've done a lot in this course already, and you should feel really proud to have completed your first VR lesson!
You should have the confidence to introduce yourself, as well as the skills to understand a basic introduction from a new friend.
Now it's time for your first conversation!
To start having authentic conversations with real people, find the 'Introductions' conversation on the VR App.
Here are some guidelines so you can get the most out of this conversation:
Always answer positively to any invitations or yes/no questions, unless you're given specific information during the video.
Answer questions in full sentences i.e. "Tengo treinta y dos aƱos" rather than simply "treinta y dos".
Use the pause and rewind functions. Some of these conversations are quite difficult, so this will give you more time to understand and respond to what's being said.
Watch the conversations multiple times. At first, it will be difficult to answer without pausing the video, so do it as many times as you need to, and use the subtitles and transcripts for extra help.
Transcript
You can use the transcript (below) to study the conversation outside of the headset. It might be useful to write out your answers, and learn them almost like a script.
Before you move on, here are some other really useful resources that you can use to reinforce the Spanish from this module:

Notes in Spanish is another podcast that we love! Learn with Ben from England and Marina from Madrid. It's always great to listen to more than one podcast, to keep things varied and fresh. You can subscribe to their beginners' podcasts via your podcast app, or listen to the episodes on their website:
