Speaking is Key

• Speaking a new language is nerve-racking!
• Vicious cycle if you don't practise speaking. Reading/writing skills surpass speaking ability, leading to frustration
• Get used to making new sounds, moving mouth in new ways
• Get over embarrassment and fear of making mistakes - people in VR can't actually hear you!
• Listening is important to practise from the start too
• Audio files, transcripts, podcasts, apps and videos suggested to practise listening skills
